Employee Engagement

The Mets are dedicated to giving back to the community. The Employee Engagement program offers Mets staff monthly opportunities to volunteer at a wide variety of organizations. Some of the activities included: employees preparing and packaging nutritious meals to deliver to the homebound at God's Love We Deliver, caring for dogs and cats at the North Shore Animal League and cooking brunch for families and children staying at the Ronald McDonald House Long Island.

The Mets employees are proud to have partnered with the following organizations:

  • Pajama Program: Employees read books to underprivileged children and help distribute a set of pajamas to each child
  • North Shore Animal League: Employees help walk, play and wash the cats and dogs at the shelter
  • God's Love We Deliver: Employees help prepare food for the food pantry's upcoming delivery to people who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves
  • Ronald McDonald House of Long Island: Employees cooked brunch for the children and families at the house
  • Mary Brennan INN: Employees served food to the homeless at the INN
  • The River Fund NY: Employees help package food for the pantry's upcoming client distribution
  • The Good Plus Foundation: Employees help screen and sort children's items for the organization to donate to families in need
