Mets VetDog
The Amazin’ Mets Foundation has awarded grants to a range of organizations supporting military-related causes and veteran service programs, including America’s VetDogs, a national nonprofit that provides service dogs to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities.
These specially trained dogs offer enhanced mobility, independence, and companionship, empowering individuals to live with renewed pride and self-reliance.
The Mets were the first-ever Major League Baseball team to raise a future service dog with America’s VetDogs. Fans can follow each Mets VetDog’s journey on the Amazin’ Mets Foundation’s Instagram, Facebook, and X account.
