Club Mets Membership Details

Purchasing a Club Mets Membership

In order to purchase a membership to Club Mets, you must complete the Club Mets order form at mets.com/ClubMets. You must provide complete and accurate information, including name, address, telephone number (e.g., home, work and mobile), email address, valid payment card information and shipping address. The mets.com Privacy Policy explains how such information may be collected and used. The email address associated with your Club Mets membership account will be your Club Mets member username. You must use or, for gifts, provide a unique email address and password for each membership purchased. The Mets and/or MLB reserve the right to decline service to or terminate any account for suspicious activity or violation of the terms of this page or the mets.com Terms of Use. All sales are final unless cancelled in accordance with the refund policy set forth below. For additional questions regarding membership, please contact us. The terms of purchase of a Club Mets membership control in the event of a conflict between these terms and the MLB Terms of Use.

Membership Renewals

For your convenience, you have the option to have your Club Mets membership (excluding Premium tier memberships) automatically renewed at the previous year's regular full price. Club Mets will contact members whose memberships are subject to automatic renewal via email by the Spring of the applicable following Major League Baseball season to notify them of their pending renewal. MLB will refund the paid purchase price of an automatically renewed 2020 Club Mets membership if a refund request is received by contacting [email protected] by September 30, 2020. There will be no returns, refunds or exchanges after this date. Please note: Under no circumstances will Club Mets memberships be refunded once either or both of the complimentary Promenade Outfield ticket vouchers have been redeemed.

Automatically Renewing Your 2019 Membership
All Club Mets members who selected the automatic renewal option when originally purchasing their memberships and have not cancelled or purchased a new membership for 2020 will receive notification of the pending renewal in or around January 2020 and then automatically have their memberships renewed approximately two (2) weeks later. For information on refunds for automatically renewed 2020 memberships, please see above.

If You Purchased A Gift or Premium Tier Membership

Gift and Premium tier memberships cannot be automatically renewed from year to year.

2022 Membership Renewals

All 2020 memberships and membership benefits will remain valid and extend through December 31, 2021. If you purchase a 2020 membership (excluding Premium tier memberships) and elect to have that membership automatically renewed, then your membership will automatically renew in or around January 2022 for the 2022 season, unless you contact us by January 1, 2022, to opt to have the automatic renewal feature canceled. You will receive notification of the pending renewal in or around January 2022 and then automatically have your membership renew approximately two (2) weeks later. If you do not cancel by the date set forth in your notification email, then your membership will automatically renew in or around January 2022 for the 2022 season, and will be subject to the refund policy set forth below.

Purchasing a Club Mets Membership as a Gift

We will contact your gift recipient via email to let him/her know that you have purchased a Club Mets membership on his/her behalf. Please be aware that the recipient will need to register for an MLB.com account and activate the membership using the link in the gift notification email in order to receive the Club Mets online benefits, so please be sure that the email address provided is correct.

If the intended recipient did not receive the email, then please contact us.

Consistent with the MLB Privacy Policy, children under 13 are not eligible to register for an MLB.com account.

For Gift Recipients

YOU MUST ACTIVATE YOUR GIFT MEMBERSHIP TO RECEIVE THE BENEFITS OF YOUR CLUB METS MEMBERSHIP, YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD, THE WELCOME PACKAGE, AND THE TWO (2) PROMENADE OUTFIELD TICKETS. The email you received when you were notified of your gift included a special link and information on how to activate your membership. You must click on that link and follow activation instructions.

NOTE: You must activate by December 31, 2020; however, in order to receive the online benefits of your 2020 Club Mets gift membership, we recommend you activate your membership as soon as possible. If you do not activate by such date, your gift Welcome Package will be sent at the end of the 2021 Major League Baseball regular season to the address provided by the original gift purchaser.

Your Club Mets Welcome Package and Membership Cards (2021 Season Only)

Your Club Mets Welcome Package contains your personalized, physical Membership Card and a Welcome Letter.

Physical Membership Cards and Welcome Packages will begin to be shipped in or around February 2021. Please allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for delivery. Neither the Mets nor MLB is responsible for lost or stolen shipments. Any 2020 Welcome Packages and physical Membership Cards returned by the U.S. Postal Service will be held at MLB, 1271 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10020 until the conclusion of the 2021 Major League Baseball regular season and may be claimed by the applicable Club Mets member by providing proof of identification to MLB. Welcome Packages and physical Membership Cards will not be replaced.

Separate from the Welcome Packages, Club Mets members will receive a digital membership card via a designated MLB app. The digital membership card will be available in March 2021.

Two Complimentary Promenade Outfield Tickets for a Select 2021 Mets Home Game

Your unique electronic ticket voucher valid for two (2) Promenade Outfield tickets for one (1) eligible home game** will be redeemable only online at Mets.com and will not be included in the membership packet you receive in the mail. The ticket voucher will be sent to you electronically in or around February 2021. Please review the email and website for complete terms and conditions. **Eligible game dates are subject to availability and include all New York Mets 2021 regular season home games except Opening Day, Subway Series and Saturday games played June through August 2021. Vouchers are not valid for previously-purchased tickets and cannot be redeemed for cash. Tickets obtained through Club Mets are not upgradable or exchangeable, are for personal use only and cannot be resold or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Tickets are subject to all terms and conditions applicable to New York Mets tickets generally and are subject to availability.

Club Mets Members-Only Website

Members of Club Mets will have access to special offers and content on the members-only section of Mets.com. You must have a valid Club Mets username and password to log in. The email address associated with your Club Mets membership account will be your Club Mets member username. It's the number one destination for all Club Mets content including exclusive ticket offers and more. All offers will be available for a limited time and are subject to availability and any other terms and conditions included with the offer.

Special Ticket Opportunities

Club Mets members are eligible for the single-game pre-sale ticket opportunity, and other ticket offers throughout the 2020 and 2021 season. Offer details will be communicated by email and posted on the members-only website.

MLB Audio Access

Members of Club Mets can access audio broadcasts and listen to every Major League Baseball game from Spring Training through the 2021 World Series on their computer by visiting the Club Mets members-only page and clicking on the links for the Multimedia Center.

MLB Audio Access on all supported devices (Premium Tier only)

2020 Club Mets Premium tier members can access audio broadcasts and listen to every Major League Baseball game from Spring Training through the 2021 World Series on their supported smartphone or tablet/mobile devices. Additional features include access to live pitch by pitch, radio broadcasts, video highlights, breaking news, and much more.

Club Mets Premium tier memberships will not automatically renew from year to year.

Non-game days:
Take fifteen percent (15%) off eligible merchandise at the Mets Team Store (located off the Rotunda at Citi Field) on non-game days. Complimentary Mets Press Game Notes at Citi Field (2021 season only)

To pick up a copy of the Mets Official Game Notes, Club Mets members may stop by the nearest Fan Assistance Station at Citi Field. Members must present their 2021 Club Mets Membership Card or printed copy of a 2020/2021 membership confirmation email and photo ID to receive their copy. Limit one (1) copy per member, per game.

Exclusive Club Mets Amazin' Memorabilia Auctions (2021 season only)

Over the course of the 2021 regular season, Club Mets members will be offered access to exclusive Mets Amazin' Memorabilia Auctions.

One (1) Game Day Complimentary Citi Field Scoreboard Message (2021 season only)

Club Mets members may redeem their complimentary scoreboard message offer by visiting the Club Mets members-only section of Mets.com and entering (a) the redemption code provided, (b) the message they would like to have displayed, and (c) the eligible game date on which they wish for the message to be played. Limit one (1) scoreboard message per member.

The message must follow the Mets scoreboard guidelines which can be found on mets.com/scoreboard. The message request must be submitted at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the requested game date.

Refund Policy for Club Mets Membership

In order to provide the highest customer satisfaction possible, MLB will refund the paid purchase price of a Club Mets membership if a refund request is received at [email protected] by September 30, 2020.
