A.J. Ramos Takes Eating Challenge in San Diego

You may not know this about me, but I'm an absolute pig. I have no regard for the copious amounts of food I put into my body on a daily basis.

That's why I got really excited when I saw that Miami Marlins right-hander A.J. Ramos took on an eating challenge in San Diego.

The Broken Yoke's "Iron Man Omelet" challenge consists of six pounds of food - a dozen eggs, three potatoes worth of home fries and two super-sized biscuits.

Though he was unable to finish the monstrosity (only four percent ever have), I've got nothing but respect for him going for it. Hopefully he didn't need to pitch the next day.

If Ramos is into eating challenges, he should try "The Big Texan," a 72-ounce steak in Amarillo, TX, or the "Slayer" at Kuma's Corner, my favorite burger joint in Chicago.

It's too bad the Marlins don't visit the Texas Rangers this year - just about everything at the Ballpark in Arlington is an eating challenge.
