AL All-Star Game ballot update: June 1
At the second update in the 2015 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot for the American League, the Royals continue to have five players in position to start the July 14 Midsummer Classic at Great American Ball Park.
Royals catcher Salvador Perez remains the leading vote-getter in the AL, receiving 2,681,063 votes. The closest race is at first base, where the Tigers' Miguel Cabrera has just a 70,515-vote lead on Kansas City's Eric Hosmer.
