Angels Baseball is now accepting applications for working media credentials for the 2009 Major League Baseball season

All representatives of the news media interested in acquiring season credentials to cover Angels' home games during 2009 must have their sports editor/sports director submit the application through the MLB Pressbox website (https://credentials.mlb.com/Credential/login.do). FAX, e-mail and mailed transmittals will not be accepted. We are accepting only one application from each media outlet. All applications must be submitted and final by Monday, March 15, 2009. Only media who will cover a minimum of 50 games at Angel Stadium of Anaheim will be considered for full season credentials.

Due to MLB policies and security procedures, please be aware of the following:

1. Credentials will not be automatically renewed from the previous season.
2. Generic or Staff credentials will not be issued (per MLB guidelines).
3. Credentials will not be issued to anyone under the age of 18.
4. Credentials will not be mailed.
5. Each individual media member issued a season credential will be required to provide a headshot (if the Angels do not already have one on file).
6. Each individual media member issued a season credential must read and sign a MLB credential regulations agreement.

All members of the media will be notified by e-mail with the status of your request by March 27, 2009. Season credentials will be available for pick up after April 2, 2009.

HOW TO APPLY FOR ANGELS SEASON CREDENTIALS
Enter the following website address on your computer: https://credentials.mlb.com/Credential/login.do

If you have used the MLB credential system before:
Log on with your user name and password; your user name is your email address (if you've forgotten your password, click the Forgot Password? tab and a new password will be emailed to you).

If you have never used the MLB credential system before: Please contact Angels Media Relations to receive your affiliate ID number. Once you received your Affiliate ID number, you can register at the site. You will be asked to provide your name, phone number, email address and job description. After that's entered you will receive an email with your password.

After entering the MLB credential system: The Home Page will appear. Scroll down to the bottom of the Home Page and select Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from the list of teams.

Please select the Season Credential Policy tab at the top of the page to review Angels' credential policy, application deadline, notification and pick-up dates.After reviewing Angels' Season Credential Policy page, return to Home Page and select Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from the list of teams.

After the Angels credential site opens, select your company name from the AFFILIATION tab. Then open the EVENT tab and select 2009 Regular Season Credentials.

Under Manage Members, follow the gold-highlighted TIP instructions to select those individuals for whom you would like to request credentials.

Once you have completed selecting all individuals, click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the page. If you are not ready to submit your application, you can save any work already done by clicking on the SAVE button and return to the application at a later date.
