Astros, ARAMARK create new hospitality group

Will feature exclusive, world class food, beverage, service at Minute Maid Park

HOUSTON, TX -- The newly-created Houston Astros Hospitality Group will feature a portfolio of world class food, beverage and service enhancements offered exclusively within Minute Maid Park.

The Hospitality Group, which is a partnership between the Astros and longtime partner ARAMARK, will elevate the premium dining and catering experience on game days and for non-game day special events.

Exclusive recipes from local celebrity chef Bryan Caswell and service experiences inspired by Houston’s premier caterer, Jackson and Company, are a few of the highlights of the new concept.

Improvements have been made on the club level, in the suites and in the restaurant and private clubs, including redesigned menus, new culinary concepts, upgraded service, new wait staff uniforms, and updated décor and color schemes that complement the Astros’ brand evolution.

The $2.5 million renovation of the Diamond Club will allow for a transformed entertainment and dining experience. The club will feature eight cooking stations highlighted by an open-hearth oven which will feature pizzas, calzones and flatbread sandwiches. In addition, the in-seat wait staff will be outfitted with hand held ordering tablets which will allow for quicker service.
On the club level, Chef Caswell will debut a new burger and milkshake concept named “The Caz, a Bryan Caswell Grille,” featuring signature burgers and chicken sandwiches, fresh made milkshakes and his famous “Four Minute Fries”.

Also set to debut on the club level this season is custom made to order sushi at the Club Level Bistro, as well as a new Bloody Mary & Margarita Bar.

Luxury suite guests will return to renovated suites and service enhancements inspired by Jackson and Company that will also include new menu features from Chef Caswell. Some of the new Caswell featured items are Carolina Pulled Chicken Sliders, Frito Pie, Dry Rub Baby Back Ribs and Tres Palacios Bacon Wrapped Shrimp to name a few.

“Our collaboration with Bryan Caswell and Jackson and Co. and the Houston Astros will make the park’s club and suites the place to be during Astros’ games and special events,” said ARAMARK Resident District Manager Mat Drain.

The Astros and ARAMARK have enjoyed a successful partnership at Minute Maid Park that has provided a first-class dining experience for fans at Astros games and guests attending special events.
