Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie... and The Cleveland Show?

Baseball and cartoons are a big part of many people’s childhoods. At one time or another, most of us have wanted to be a Major Leaguer or a cartoon. For some of MLB’s brightest stars, the latter part of that has become a reality.

According to TV Line, Andre Ethier (LAD), Matt Kemp (LAD), David Ortiz (BOS), Jimmy Rollins (PHI) and Joey Votto (CIN) will make cameo appearances in an upcoming episode of FOX’s hit animated program The Cleveland Show. All of the players will be animated, and they will be doing their own voiceovers. In this particular episode, Cleveland Brown will become a Major League scout, and he will have interactions with these players in particular. If you have watched this show before, you know how hilarious it is. So, I cannot even imagine how amazing this episode will be.

Be sure to catch this episode on FOX at 7:30ET/6:30CT on Sunday, November 4.

Here's to hoping that this episode produces some memorable scenes like in the classic MLB-themed episodes of The Simpsons.
