Batting Stance Guy on Chris Davis

Davis crushed his 31st home run of the season Sunday night, finally eliciting some love from the Batting Stance Guy himself.

Davis has already surpassed his 53 extra-base hits from 2012 this year – in over 200 fewer plate appearances. He’s only two homers and five RBIs away from matching his 2012 totals.

The 27-year-old is having a breakout year and is well on his way to his first ever All-Star appearance July 16 at Citi Field. Smart money has Robbie Cano picking him to help mash for the American League in the Home Run Derby the day before.
