Bumgarner leads 2015 player jersey sales

Madison Bumgarner, who earned the World Series MVP with one of the greatest postseason pitching performances of all time, has stayed hot both on and off the field this season. His Majestic name-and-number jersey led all player jersey sales at the MLB.com shop through the All-Star Game.

Only 25 years old, Bumgarner was among the six players in the top 10 who are under 26. Kris Bryant, a 23-year-old slugger who has only three months in the Major Leagues, debuted on the list at No. 2 -- the highest ranking for a rookie since MLB and the Players Association began compiling the list in 2010.

In addition to the jerseys of Bumgarner and Bryant making their debut on the list, Cincinnati Reds third baseman Todd Frazier and Washington Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer also have their jerseys in the top 20 for the first time. Players representing 12 different clubs make up the top 20 most popular player jerseys, which include eight infielders, four outfielders, two catchers, five pitchers and one DH.
