Chipper Jones High School Scouting Report

Last week the President of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Jeff Idelson, gave us a gem in the high school scouting report of Derek Jeter. This week we get another treat: the high school scouting report of a young Larry Wayne Jones Jr. You may know him as Chipper, Chipper Jones.

My absolute favorite part of this scouting report is the player's weaknesses section. "None that I see at present." Wow. Is there a bigger compliment to a baseball player than that? If I played, I would've been happy with "Looks good in uniform, has awesome bat flips."

But seriously, enjoy this piece of history about a future Hall of Famer.
