Color Footage of Jim Maloney's No Hitter in 1965
This is incredible. Rare color footage from Reds pitcher Jim Maloney's 10-inning, 10-walk no-hitter against the Cubs on August 19, 1965. The footage, which is of excellent quality, gives a glimpse into the broadcasts of that day.
Maloney, by the way, threw 10 no-hit innings in another game that same season, against the Mets. With no run support, however, the game went on. He surrendered a leadoff homer in the 11th and suffered the loss.
