Commissioner Manfred to stop by High Heat

Commissioner Rob Manfred will help preview the final day of the regular season on Sunday during a special 1 p.m. ET edition of MLB Network's High Heat with host Chris Russo.

Sunday marks the final day of the regular season in Manfred's first year as Commissioner, and Major League Baseball is gearing up for an unprecedented schedule featuring 14 games all starting at 3:05 p.m. ET. The Braves and Cardinals will play a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. to make up Saturday's rainout. Of those 14 games starting simultaneously, seven will have postseason implications.

Also on MLB Network at 2 p.m. ET, MLB Tonight will preview all of the action and keep viewers up to date on all the games. The broadcast will be on the air until 8 p.m., giving fans six hours of baseball programming on MLB Tonight.

Sunday's results will help determine the winner of the American League West, the second AL Wild Card, the top seed in the AL and the location of the National League Wild Card Game.
