Couple Gets Married Between Innings
A season-ticket holder for the Sacramento River Cats got married at Raley Field on Saturday night.
The catch? It was a 60-second ceremony held between innings of an 11-5 victory for the Oakland A’s Triple-A affiliate.
Alan Slape planned the wedding himself, with his bride working full-time while pursuing a master’s degree.
A baseball game, an on-field wedding and fireworks. Can't beat that for the price of admission #RiverCats pic.twitter.com/IOCEsUIsai

The third inning just ended here at Raley Field, so obviously it's time for an on-field wedding ceremony. #RiverCats pic.twitter.com/OxRS17B96e
