Curtis Granderson Stadium

Curtis Granderson is one of the most likable people ever. Not just in baseball. I'm talking whole wide world here. So to hear that he's donating $5 million towards his alma mater's college does not surprise me one bit.

The University of Illinois-Chicago has plans to open a brand new baseball stadium for the 2015 season. Mr. Granderson will be supplying $5 million of the $7 million needed for the open-air, brick-and-stone stadium. The stadium is expected to hold 1,200 fans.

If Curtis Granderson ever reads this, I'd like to say...

Mr. Granderson, you are a gentleman and a scholar. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. If you wrote a newsletter, I'd subscribe to it and read it religiously.
