David Ortiz Surprises Veterans with World Series Tickets
A salute to our military.
As part of a promotion with Bank of America, Major League Baseball and nonprofits Welcome Back Veterans and the Home Base Program, David Ortiz did something really special. Ortiz recently welcomed two Army veterans and an active service member to Fenway Park and surprised them with tickets to the 2014 World Series. Big Papi gave the group a behind-the-scenes tour of Fenway and thanked them for their service to our country.
With all that our military servicemen and servicewomen do for our country, it's great to see that appreciation expressed on a national stage.
