Indie Rockers Locksley to play the MLB Fan CaveWednesday, June 29th

The MLB Fan Cave is pleased to welcome Locksley for an exclusive liveperformance. Locksley are a four-piece rock band out of Madison, WI who nowcall New York City home.

Fans have gravitated to Locksley’s infectious sound, which mixes 50’s rock ‘n’roll with modern garage. Marked by Locksley’s almost encyclopedic passionfor music – with a particular affinity for British Invasion beat groups, NYC punk, classic, Stax/Volt soul, and garage-fueled 21st Century indie rock – their self-titled debut album’s manic pop thrills represent the definitive account of theirelectrifying first chapter. Songs such as the rip - roaring first single, “The Whip”the anthemic “Oh! Wisconsin” deftly thread the needle between pure popperfection and punk’s raw power, with crunchy riffs, call - and - response choruses, and snug harmonies.

Crackling with energy and ingenuity, "Locksley" reveals a marvelously gifted bandthat has only just begun rocking to the peak of its powers.

Over the past few years they’ve built up an impressive list of accomplishments.Among those are playing as the backing band for Kinks legend Ray Davies, performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and mostrecently, their first add to top 40 radio for the song “The Whip.”

Check it out, and come by the MLB Fan Cave for the show!
