The players listed below could provide difference-making stats for DraftKings participants on Tuesday.
Pedro Alvarez (Pirates): With a lifetime .795 OPS against right-handers (.578 vs. lefties), Alvarez could spoil the Major League debut of Brewers righty Taylor Jungmann. Having posted a 4.10 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP in his Minor League career, the righty hurler could struggle at baseball's top level.

Gregory Polanco (Pirates): Polanco has produced pronounced lifetime splits, with a .736 OPS against right-handers in comparison to a .450 mark vs. lefties. On Tuesday, the outfielder could be part of a Bucs mini-stack -- along with second baseman Neil Walker -- against the inexperienced Jungmann.
Giancarlo Stanton (Marlins): Despite playing roughly half of his career contests at a spacious home ballpark, Stanton has posted a lifetime .288/.382/.602 slash line against left-handers. After homering on Monday, the outfielder could flash more power at offense-inducing Rogers Centre when he faces lefty Mark Buehrle, who has a 4.45 FIP and a 1.31 WHIP this season.
Martin Prado (Marlins): The third baseman -- who also qualifies at second base in DraftKings contests -- has long fared best vs. lefties, against whom he has produced a lifetime .823 OPS (.739 vs. right-handers). With three homers and zero steals this season, Prado could be an economical option when he faces Buehrle (1.35 WHIP since 2013) at a hitter-friendly venue.
Jose Bautista (Blue Jays): Since his breakout 2010 season, Bautista has produced a .270/.392/.556 slash line against righties and a .285/.410/.597 slash line at Rogers Centre. The outfielder could rip a roundtripper when he hits at home against Marlins righty Dan Haren, who has allowed 94 homers across his past 104 appearances (103 starts) dating back to 2012.
Jose Altuve (Astros): Altuve is among baseball's best vs. lefties, against whom he has registered a career .351/.393/.483 slash line. The second baseman could reach base often against White Sox southpaw Carlos Rodon, who has posted a 1.64 WHIP this season. Altuve -- who has stolen 73 bases since the outset of the 2014 campaign -- could also swipe a bag, as catcher Tyler Flowers sometimes struggles against speedsters.
Evan Gattis (Astros): Having slugged 13 homers across 233 career at-bats against lefties, Gattis could display his power against the inexperienced Rodon. Having collected 29 RBIs across 132 at-bats since the outset of May, the slugger could be paired with Altuve, with the hope that both hitters combine to produce multiple runs and RBIs.
Yadier Molina (Cardinals): Having yet to homer this season, Molina could have an economical DraftKings price tag when he puts his career .769 OPS against left-handers (.726 vs. righties) like Rockies southpaw Jorge De La Rosa (career 1.45 WHIP). With homer-happy Coors Field as the backdrop, the catcher could have a chance to improve his 2015 power numbers.
Jhonny Peralta (Cardinals): The shortstop has long fared best vs. left-handers, against whom he owns a lifetime .795 OPS (.751 vs. righties). Peralta could produce power from his premium position when he heads to Colorado's hitter-friendly road venue to face De La Rosa (6.15 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP in 2015).
Mark Reynolds (Cardinals): The powerful, high-strikeout first baseman could be the boom-or-bust portion of a Cardinals stack when he takes his career .804 OPS against left-handers (.769 vs. righties) into the thin air of Coors Field to face De La Rosa. As a big leaguer, De La Rosa has allowed righty hitters such as Reynolds to post a .796 OPS (.640 OPS allowed to lefty hitters).
Howie Kendrick (Dodgers): Kendrick could improve on his lifetime .789 OPS against left-handers (.744 vs. righties) when he faces D-backs southpaw Robbie Ray, who has notched a 6.13 ERA and a 1.66 WHIP across 39 2/3 career innings.
Corey Kluber (Indians): Few pitchers can match the recent dominance of Kluber, who has posted a 59-to-3 strikeout-to-walk ratio across his past five starts. The right-hander could continue to excel when he works at home against a Mariners lineup that he tallied 13 K's against on May 28.
Dallas Keuchel (Astros): With a 1.85 ERA and a 0.92 WHIP, the left-hander has been one of this season's breakout players. Keuchel could spin a gem against a White Sox lineup that ranks last in baseball by a wide margin with a .520 OPS against southpaws.
Chris Young (Royals): An extreme fly-ball pitcher, Young could thrive at spacious Target Field when he faces a Twins lineup that ranks 24th in the Majors with 44 homers. Those seeking an economical second starter could roster the right-hander, who has posted a 3.42 ERA since the outset of 2014.
Carlos Frias (Dodgers): DraftKings participants may be wise to focus less on the right-hander's career 5.06 ERA and more on his lifetime 3.76 FIP. Frias could be a cost-effective second starter when he works at his pitcher-friendly home park against a D-backs lineup with several key members who have traditionally fared best against southpaws.
James Shields (Padres): Shields -- who has compiled 92 strikeouts across 75 1/3 innings this season -- could accumulate several quality innings and strikeouts when he faces the Braves at Turner Field. The righty has struggled with the long ball in 2015, but he could thrive against an Atlanta lineup that ranks 29th in the Majors with 37 homers.
