ESPN Sunday Night Baseball Commercial: Jason Heyward

Growing up in Canada I not only had to survive without ESPN and Sunday Night Baseball but also without their incredible commercials. Fortunately, now living in New York City, I’ve been able to see many of them. The most recent one that has caught my eye is their new Jason Heyward commercial. It follows the lifeline of Heyward from being scouted by scouts at an early age (in an incubator), playing on a little league team (much bigger than everyone else) and of course his first at-bat in the Majors, where, (as we all remember), he smashes a home run to right field. The reason the commercial is so incredible is pretty simple. They even say it themselves: it’s because it’s featuring Jason Heyward – “The past, present and future of the Braves.”
