Beyond the Diamond: BCF and Brewers Community Relations Celebrates a Banner Year in 2025
On the field, the 2025 Milwaukee Brewers broke records and provided some of the most memorable moments in franchise history. Off the field, the Crew’s commitment to the community was just as impactful. This holiday season, Brewers Community Foundation and Brewers Community Relations teamed up with Brewers front office staff to wrap more than 500 gifts to benefit UCC Early Learning Centers and Northcott Neighborhood House. This event is just one of many that BCF has put on to raise more than $5.7 million in 2025, and more than $66 million since its inception in 2010.
“Brewers Community Foundation is deeply grateful for the unwavering support from Brewers fans, players, partners and staff who continue to show up for our community in meaningful ways,” said Cecelia Gore, Executive Director of BCF.
With BCF’s “Beyond the Diamond” initiatives, Brewers players and front office staff made more than 115 appearances spanning more than 3,300 hours and helped BCF supply grants to roughly 200 nonprofits.
Brewers Community Relations hosted signature events throughout the year, including Brewers Bookshelf Build, where players and staff helped build 60 bookshelves with students in the area; The 8th Annual Play Ball Weekend, a league wide event held for kids to learn the game of baseball; and #KindnessInMKE, where the Brewers organization donated more than $50,000 in one day to the Milwaukee community.
“Community is at the heart of everything we do. Through our ‘Beyond the Diamond’ initiative, we’re proud to partner with Brewers Community Foundation to make a lasting impact across Wisconsin,” said Vice President of Community Relations, Katina Shaw. “These efforts reflect the passion and generosity of our entire Brewers family, and we’re honored to stand alongside the nonprofits that uplift our community every day.”
BCF and Brewers Community Relations impact is felt throughout all of Milwaukee, with 2025 being one of its best yet.
