Ichiro's First MLB Hit

It’s crazy to believe that in 13 Major League seasons, Ichiro Suzuki has piled up more than 2,700 hits – that’s averaging well over 200 hits per season.

Then you consider he came to MLB at age 27 with 1,200 hits already under his belt from his NPB days in Japan.

One of the iconic players of this generation enters play Wednesday with 3,999 career hits between the two leagues. Take a look at the video of his first Major League hit.
