I love baseball memorabilia. There's something special about owning a unique moment from baseball history. The chance to own another piece of history was made available Monday when a Jackie Robinson game-used baseball glove, which was believed to have been used in the 1955 and '56 World Series, was sold at auction.
The selling price? $373,002!
The glove is the second highest glove ever sold at auction, trailing Lou Gehrig's by $13,000. Commendably, the company who held the auction, Steiner Sports, donated proceeds of these items to Hurricane Sandy relief.
