Joe Kelly Standoff Bobblehead
In the latest bobblehead news, the Springfield Cardinals announced that they will give away a Joe Kelly standoff bobblehead:
The one-of-a-kind bobblehead commemorates Joe Kelly's famous victory in his "standoff" with Los Angeles Dodgers LF Scott Van Slyke after the National Anthem before Game 6 of the National League Championship Series last October. Joe was excited about the unveiling since it will his first bobblehead and it will celebrate the big "standoff" win.
We imagine the Dodgers will take issue with that last sentence. But Springfield deserves props for coming up with a creative promotion. The standoff was classic. We look forward to the next fun bobblehead announcement.
