Kevin Frandsen's Amazing Not-Quite-Catch
No look, all swag.
Last night, Kevin Frandsen couldn't quite get to Jason Castro's fly ball, but his play on the carom off the wall was a thing of beauty. With his back to the ball, looking toward the infield, Frandsen caught the ricochet behind his back and, all in one motion, fired back to the infield, keeping Dexter Fowler on third.
And even better than the play was Frandsen's explanation of what happened afterward.
My true inspiration for getting that ball off the wall last night.... pic.twitter.com/jgT0KJxIxf
