LSU Shortstop Catches Pop up off of Third Baseman's Head
Crazy play.
Lol WOW. #LSU 3B Christian Ibarra hit in the head by a fly ball. SS Alex Bregman makes the catch on the rebound for an out. Never seen that.

LSU proved that it plays heads-up baseball in the most literal way possible. In an SEC Tournament game against Arkansas, LSU third baseman Christian Ibarra camped under a pop-up into foul ground but lost it in the sun. The ball struck him in the head and popped high into the air, allowing shortstop Alex Bregman to range over and snare it before it hit the ground.
One of the stranger plays we've ever seen.
