Machado, Braddock cleared for action

SARASOTA, Fla. -- Manny Machado and Zach Braddock were back in camp Tuesday morning after missing Monday's workout, as the pair had to undergo additional procedures as part of their physicals.
"The doctor had me go follow up on some checkup," Machado said. "No, it was just something personal I had to do. Just something that they saw out of the ordinary."
Orioles manager Buck Showalter mentioned to reporters Monday that it was some sort of acid reflux issue.
"Yeah, I've had it," Machado said. "It's a family thing. It runs in the family.
"[I'm a] full go. I'm ready to get back out there. I was bored yesterday. I'm ready to come back out here and participate with the team."
Machado, projected to be the Opening Day starter at third, is in his first big league camp coming off a rookie season in which he hit .262/.294/.445. Braddock -- who is rehabbing after surgery to fix a left labrum tear -- signed as a Minor League free agent this winter.
