Marine Makes Proposal After Throwing Out First Pitch

Would you be nervous if you got to throw out the first pitch at a Major League Baseball game?

I know I would.

A sergeant in the Marines figured out a great way to battle those nerves – by occupying his mind with something that made him even more nervous.

After delivering the first pitch a little high and tight (we’re not judging), he walked off the mound to meet his girlfriend and surprised her by getting down onto one knee.

Turns out it’s a good thing the pitch sailed a little high – if he had bounced it, his now-fiancé might have said no.
