The Angels are giving away a Mark Trumbo bobblehead on May 16, and it’s making the rounds right now. It recently made a stop at his old stomping grounds, Villa Park High School. Pretty awesome. Trumbo is a local kid and it has to be pretty cool to see a bobblehead of himself at the place he used to drop Trumbombs. That’s when you know you made it big.

Little known fact about me: I played baseball. I played in high school. I don’t want to see a bobblehead version of myself at my old field. I need to see a bobblehead version of myself at my old field. Nevermind the fact I never made it past college. Nevermind the fact that I haven’t stepped foot on my high school field since like 2006. I need it. Well, now talking about this, it’s all I’m going to think about. It’s going to haunt my dreams. I might have to make a bobblehead myself and take pictures of it at the field. So what if it might be made out of construction paper? It needs to be done.

PS. What would my bobblehead even be? Can’t be me pitching or something. For some reason I imagine it as me sitting in a chair and blogging away. In my own zone. Laser focused.
