Matt Harvey High School Pitching Footage

Six years removed from his high school career, Matt Harvey's appearance hasn't changed much at all. 

Neither has his expectations.

This video popped up online last month of Harvey's ascension into the Major League Baseball scene as a flame-throwing 18 year-old.

Even back then, "Harvey Day" was a special day at Robert E. Fitch Senior High School in Groton, CT, with friends, family and scouts showing up to see the phenom take the mound.

His mechanics have gotten sharper and his fastball has a little extra zip, but it's still the same Matt Harvey.

He still loves striking guys out, and he's still pretty good at it.
