The mustache, inspired by Reds mascot Mr. Redlegs, will be of the handlebar variety, and each statue will measure eight feet wide and 2 1/2 feet high. They'll weigh approximately 850 pounds.

One of the statues was unveiled outside Cincinnati City Hall on Friday, and Mayor John Cranley was on hand for the ceremony alongside Phil Castellini, chief operating officer of the Reds. Cincinnati city manager Harry Black and Reds mascots Mr. Redlegs and Rosie Red were also present.
