National Anthem Standoff Before NLCS Game 6
I don’t want to sound dramatic when I say this, but National Anthem standoffs can determine who wins the game 99% of the time. Baseball is a mental game. Standoffs are a mental game times infinity. It’s really hard to determine who won it though. Joe Kelly gave a little deke and Scott Van Slyke thought he had it in the bag so he walked into the dugout. Van Slyke was wearing a helmet. Both pulled some good maneuvers. The rules are kind of in the gray area, so I’m going to have to say it’s a tie.
