New Era Pinstripe Bowl Week continues on Tuesday, Dec. 28

The inaugural New Era Pinstripe Bowl Week will continue tomorrow -- Tuesday, December 28. Please see the schedule below for all media events occurring on the second day of bowl week.

Today, both Syracuse and Kansas State practiced at the New York Giant's Timex Performance Center. Prior to practice, Kansas State players visited the Empire State Building and Ground Zero, while the families of both teams were hosted for breakfast at Dylan's Candy Bar in midtown Manhattan. Both teams will enjoy a Welcome Dinner tonight at the Yankee Stadium Legends Suite Club.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 28 SCHEDULE

9:00 a.m. Media credential distribution begins at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge.Follow signs upon entry to the hotel to the media credential desk.

9:00 a.m. Wives experience at Lord & Taylor (closed to media)

Wives of participating school's players, coaching staffs and VIPs will enjoy a special shopping event.

9:30 a.m. Ringing of the opening bell at New York Stock Exchange with representatives from each team

Syracuse Head Coach Doug Marrone, Kansas State Head Coach Bill Snyder and student athletes will join New York Yankees President Randy Levine, New York Yankees Chief Operating Officer Lonn Trost and New Era Chief Executive Officer Chris Koch to ring the ceremonial opening bell (media must email Rich Adamonis -- [email protected])

10:15 a.m. Media Bus departs the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge for Syracuse workout for access).

10:30 a.m. Media Bus departs the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge for Kansas State media availability

10:30 a.m. Kansas State visits Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (closed to media-pool photographer)

Wildcats Head Coach Bill Snyder and select players will visit children currently undergoing treatment.

11:45 a.m. Syracuse team workout at Atlantic Health Jets Training Center (first 20 minutes open to media)1 Jets Drive, Florham Park, NJ

Noon Chelsea Piers family skating event (closed to media)

Children and wives of participating school's players, coaching staffs and VIPs will enjoy a special day of fun at the skating rink.

12:15 p.m. Kansas State media availability at Grand Hyatt New York (Salon III, the ballroom level)

Co-Offensive Coordinators Dana Dimel and Del Miller, Defensive Coordinator Chris Cosh, QB Carson Coffman, OL Zach Kendall, DB Tysyn Hartman, LS Corey Adams and DB Emmanuel Lamur.

2:30 p.m. Media Bus departs the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge for Media Day at Grand Hyatt

2:45 p.m. Kansas State workout at Atlantic Health Jets Training Center (first 20 minutes open to media)1 Jets Drive, Florham Park, NJ

3:00 p.m. Times Square Kickoff Event

Yankees 1B Mark Teixeira, K-State Director of Athletics John Currie and a Syracuse University rep will join bowl executives, Rock of Ages, K-State band members and Willie the Wildcat. Festivities will also include the unveiling of the George M. Steinbrenner championship trophy, which will be presented to the bowl game's winning team.

3:00 p.m. Media credential distribution ends at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge

4:00 p.m. Media availability for Syracuse at Grand Hyatt New York (Salon III, the ballroom level)

Defensive Coordinator Scott Shafer, Passing Game/QB Coach Nathaniel Hackett, Center Ryan Bartholomew, RB Delone Carter, LB Doug Hogue, QB Ryan Nassib, LB Derrell Smith and Punter Rob Long will be available from 4:00-4:30 p.m.

6:30 p.m. World Yacht cruise around New York Harbor for Syracuse and Kansas State (closed to media)

Coaches and players of the participating schools will enjoy a scenic trip around Manhattan.

7:30 p.m. VIP cocktail reception at Brasserie Ruhlmann at Rockefeller Center (closed to media)

Friends and family of each school will enjoy the scenic views from atop Rockefeller Center.

All media MUST have a credential to attend any events during Bowl Week. The New Era Pinstripe Bowl credential is applicable for all entry to all events open to the media during the bowl week. Syracuse University and Kansas State University will play each other in the first-ever New Era Pinstripe Bowl on Thursday, December 30 at Yankee Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3:22 p.m. The game will be nationally televised by ESPN, and can also be heard nationally on ESPN Radio.
