Nick Tropeano's One-Pitch Strikeout
Corpus Christi Hooks pitcher Nick Tropeano struck out a batter in just ONE pitch last night!
I know what you’re thinking, “April, that’s not possible.”
But it is.
Midland Rockhoundes infielder Vinnie Catricala argued a strike call after the first pitch. He then refused to step back in the box, and the ump called two strikes. Just like that, Catricala was out.
I was impressed with Steve Delabar’s recent immaculate inning, in which he struck out three batters in nine pitches, but this goes from immaculate to unbelievable.
Tonight I might have made history with a "One Pitch Strikeout". I'll take it haha!!!

.@JustinWhiteTCU Batter argued strike one call, and when he refused to get back in the box ump called strike two. Repeat for strike three.
