On The White Sox Red Carpet

From rapper Snoop Dogg to a then-16-year-old Justin Bieber, a host of celebrities have stopped by U.S. Cellular Field to take in a White Sox game and interact with fans. Whether they're up-and-coming stars or ones who have made their mark, you never know who will stop by the ballpark to throw a ceremonial first pitch or visit the #SoxSocial Lounge. Here's a look at 13 celebrities who have made appearances on the South Side during the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

1. One Direction singer NIALL HORAN made what he thought was a stealthy appearance at the ballpark this July 22. But he took Twitter by storm when his suite neighbors connected the dots on his custom "Niall" No. 1 White Sox jersey. He had both great style and company, hanging out with White Sox legend Frank Thomas.

2. Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard and Chicago native TONY ALLEN threw a ceremonial first pitch on Friday, July 3, 2015 and knocked it out of the park with Sox fans in the #SoxSocial Lounge.

3. LEVAR BURTON took Reading Rainbow's "Go anywhere. Be anything." to heart as he stepped up to the mound like an ace during a ceremonial first pitch on June 5 of this year. Not familiar with Reading Rainbow? Perhaps you recognize Burton from Roots, Star Trek or his appearances as himself in the award-winning TV show, The Big Bang Theory. Burton also played former Sox outfielder Ron LeFlore in the movie, One in a Million: The Ron LeFlore Story. "Doing (that movie) was a dream come true," Burton revealed.

"I got to wear a uniform and play in Old Comiskey Park. It was really every kid's dream."

4. One JOHN DALY coming right up! The weathermay have interfered with Daly's first pitch, but the professional golfer competed in a putting contest against White Sox broadcaster Ed Farmer, former Sox slugger Ron Kittle and a season ticket holder before serving his signature drink at the ChiSox Bar & Grill on May 8, 2015.

5. Ever been to Rockit or Sunda restaurants? You can thank BILLY DEC, the company's CEO and founder. He also now serves on the President's Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, earning him a ceremonial first pitch at the White Sox' Asian Heritage Night on May 6, 2015.

6. You name it, KEVIN HART can do it. The actor, comedian, writer and producer showed off his baseball skills with a ceremonial first pitch at U.S. Cellular Field on June 13 of last year.

7. The White Sox welcomed Chicago Bulls Head Coach FRED HOIBERG, a former Bulls player, back to the city on July 6, 2015. He joined the Bulls' first-round draft pick BOBBY PORTIS for a ceremonial first pitch.

8. The White Sox celebrated National Ghostbusters Day (August 28) last year with one of the movie's stars, ERNIE HUDSON. The actor couldn't help but let a Ghostbusters T-shirt peek through his Sox jersey. He had such a great time that he came back on July 23 of this season to kick off the game with the lineup card exchange.

9. We've got "Friends in Low Places" that join the team for batting practice on occasion. While kicking off his world tour in Chicago, GARTH BROOKS and his wife and fellow country music star TRISHA YEARWOOD joined the team for batting practice on September 12, 2014. Brooks was a classmate of manager Robin Ventura's at Oklahoma State University and through his foundation "Teammates for Kids," he crossed paths and started a friendship with bench coach Mark Parent. Brooks on the White Sox: "These guys make you feel like you're part of the team. It takes you back to being 12-years-old. Me and my dad, the closest we ever were was when we were playing baseball. You guys have no idea the gifts you give to little kids. And those little kids are 50-years-old."

10. MCKAYLA MARONEY thrilled America as an Olympic Gold Medalist and member of the 2012 "Fierce Five" Olympic gymnastics team. She couldn't help but remind us of those slick moves as she flipped her way through a ceremonial first pitch at U.S. Cellular Field on August 1, 2014.

11. Not all ballpark guests are front and center for fans to see. Some even make their appearances when the team is out of town. That was the case for popular actress MELISSA MCCARTHY and her husband and actor/producer BEN FALCONE. Their visit to the ballpark on May 13 this year was all business as they filmed scenes for the movie Michelle Darnell, which is scheduled for release in 2016.

12. Just like baseball is a tradition for many families, so is show business for others. That's the case for The Princess Bride and When Harry Met Sally director ROB REINER. The son of Emmy-winning actor and Dick Van Dyke Show creator Carl Reiner visited U.S. Cellular Field on June 18, 2014. During his TV booth visit with Steve Stone, Reiner told stories about the annual trips he and his son would take to visit ballparks throughout the country. They would rank the trips by the ballpark and the hot dog. They concluded that Comiskey Park offered the best frank.

13. The show never stops for country music singer CANAAN SMITH. He came straight from his Windy City LakeShake performance to perform an acoustic "Rock the Sox" performance on June 19, 2015. As if his song "Love You Like That" didn't win over your heart, his on-point first pitch should have done the trick!
