BALTIMORE -- Baltimore's first-round Draft pick, Florida State outfielder DJ Stewart, has agreed to terms with the club, the Orioles officially announced on Sunday.

Stewart was in Baltimore over the weekend and underwent his physical on Friday. On Saturday, he posted a photo of himself signing a contract on Instagram, thanking his family, friends and coaches at Florida State.

The 2014 ACC Player of the Year projects as a left fielder, helping to fill a void in the Orioles' farm system that is short on top positional players. This season for the Seminoles -- his junior year -- Stewart hit .318 with 15 home runs, 59 RBIs, a .500 on-base percentage and 69 walks.
