— Pittsburgh Pirates (@Pirates) March 24, 2014The Pirates will honor Ralph Kiner with a commemorative No. 4 patch during the 2014 season. Kiner, who passed away in February, played eight seasons in Pittsburgh, during which he was an All-Star six times and the NL home run champion seven times.
The Pirates join the Mets and the University of New Mexico in honoring Kiner’s life and career with a patch this season.
