All-Star music lineup features Pitbull at Derby

Idol winner Glover, Marc Anthony set to perform at Midsummer Classic

Musical artist Pitbull will perform on the field in New York before the Home Run Derby next week, while "American Idol" winner Candice Glover and two-time Grammy Award winner Marc Anthony will perform as part of the All-Star Game festivities the following night.

Glover, the 23-year-old winner of the 12th season of FOX's "American Idol," will perform the national anthem during a special on-field ceremony to honor the winners from the MLB and "PEOPLE" magazine "Tribute for Heroes" campaign before the Midsummer Classic on July 16.

Anthony, who has sold over 12 million albums worldwide, will sing "God Bless America" during the seventh inning.

Pitbull's special on-field performance, presented by Budweiser, will begin at about 7:55 p.m. ET, wrapping up MLB Network's live on-field coverage of batting practice before the Derby. He is expected to play hits "Don't Stop the Party" and "Feel This Moment."

The international artist and icon has sold more than five million albums and 40 million singles, with No. 1 hits in more than 15 countries.

Additionally, the 2013 MLB All-Star Charity Concert to benefit relief for victims of Hurricane Sandy will feature Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic, with a special guest appearance from Grammy Award winner Mariah Carey on Saturday.

The concert, which is free to fans but requires each attendee to have a ticket, will take place on the Great Lawn in Central Park at 7:30 p.m. Free tickets are available at AllStarGame.com.
