Rangers Rookies Dress Up as Spice Girls

After sweeping the Boston Red Sox on Sunday, players from the Texas Rangers attended a fundraiser event called Triple Play later that evening. The event is held every year by Park Place Dealerships and the Rangers to raise money for the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.

The event included a silent auction and a game show but from Elvis Andrus’ tweet, it looks like the rookies, dressed up as the Spice Girls, were the ultimate entertainers of the night.

The Spice Girls are: Leury Garcia as Scary, Justin Grimm as Sporty, Joe Ortiz as Posh, Leonys Martin as Ginger, and Tanner Scheppers as Baby.

I really hope they had a choreographed dance routine to “Wannabe”. Can you say viral video?
