Sadako From Ringu Throws Out First Pitch

The World Series ring isn't the only ring making news in the baseball world today. Remember the film, "The Ring?" The creepy girl from the movie gave me nightmares for weeks. Well, it turns out the series is still immensely popular in Japan and the next installment, Sadako 3-D 2, opens this week!

The main character and three look-alikes were invited to throw out the first pitch at a Hanshin Tigers game over the weekend. The question is: with the hair covering her eyes, how did the ball reach the catcher? Incredible! From ballerinas to taekwondoists, what a year for unique first pitches!
