Sandy Alderson's Twitter Shirt

New York Mets GM Sandy Alderson created quite a stir when he launched his official Twitter account in March. With his brash humor and comments, some did not believe the verified account was Alderson. But if anyone needed further confirmation, last night's T-shirt giveaway at Citi Field provided assurance.

The Mets on Tuesday launched a "T-shirt Tuesday promotion," which for $19 includes a seat in the left field landing section of Citi Field and a limited edition T-shirt for every Tuesday home game of the 2012 season. Alderson’s Golden Retriever Buddy (whom is often included in tweets) graces the front of the inaugural shirt handed out Tuesday with Alderson’s Twitter handle on the back. Along with Buddy’s image is the phrase "Buddy Alderson, GM’s Best Friend.
