The Hitting Jack-It System added to MLB Authentic Collection

Weighted Hitting System Becomes On-Field MLB Licensee

Major League Baseball announced today The Hitting Jack-It™ System, a variable weighted hitting system, has been added to the MLB Authentic Collection through a new licensing agreement with MLB Properties.

The Hitting Jack-It™ System is designed to be used in any hitting drill, including live batting practice. The shape of The Hitting Jack-It™ System weights allow them to be kept on the bat during batting practice.

The Hitting Jack-It™ System is used by more than 60 top Major League players and 18 Major League teams including Evan Longoria, Dustin Pedroia and Clint Hurdle. Hurdle, the Manager for the Pittsburgh Pirates, has used the product for more than a year and was recently named as the Technology and Hitting Consultant for The Hitting Jack-It™ System.

The Hitting Jack-It™ System was developed by Marco Estrada Sr. and Marco Estrada Jr., a former pro baseball player. The weights are designed to improve the player’s bat speed, strength and power while reinforcing proper swing mechanics.

The MLB Authentic Collection is the line of high quality fitted caps, jerseys, outerwear and equipment identical to that which Major League Baseball players wear on the field.
