Three Minor League players suspended
Washington Nationals Minor League catcher Michael Albaladejo has been suspended for 50 games without pay after testing positive for Methylhexaneamine. The suspension of Albaladejo, who is currently on the roster of the Gulf Coast League Nationals, is effective immediately.
Tampa Bay Rays Minor League outfielder Deshun Dixon has been suspended for 50 games without pay following a second violation for a drug of abuse. The suspension of Dixon, who is currently on the roster of the Class A Hudson Valley Renegades of the New York-Penn League, is effective immediately.
Free-agent Minor League right-handed pitcher Vincent Payne, Jr., has been suspended for 50 games without pay following a second violation for a drug of abuse. The suspension of Payne will be effective immediately upon his signing with another Major League organization.
