Minnesota Twins players showed support for general manager Terry Ryan today by wearing Stand Up to Cancer shirts. Ryan, one of the most respected GMs in baseball, recently underwent surgery to remove a cancerous lump from his neck. While he's not expected to attend Spring Training, the longtime Twins executive is clearly there in spirit.
Classy move by the Twins. We wish Ryan a full and speedy recovery.
