Once a World Series champion is crowned and the baseball season comes to a close this month, MLB awards season kicks up in earnest.
Here's a look at all of the important dates when it comes to the 2026 awards season.
Oct. 26: Roberto Clemente Award presented by Capital One
Before Game 3 of the World Series
Widely considered one of the game's most prestigious honors, the Roberto Clemente Award is given annually to the player who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field. The Clemente Award nominees -- one from each team -- were unveiled in September.

Last year's winners: Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. and Padres outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr.
Nov. 6: Heart & Hustle Awards
This award is presented by the MLB Players Alumni Association and is voted on by alumni as well as active players. It goes to the active player "who demonstrates a passion for the game of baseball and best embodies the values, spirit and traditions of the game." Each of the 30 teams has one nominee, and a winner will be selected from that group and announced on MLB Network.
Last year's winner: Bobby Witt Jr. for a second consecutive season.
Nov. 9: BBWAA Rookie of the Year Awards
The BBWAA opens its major awards week by honoring the top rookies from the 2026 season. It’s an honor with a strong legacy, bearing the name of Jackie Robinson, the first winner back in 1947.
Last year's winners: A's first baseman Nick Kurtz and Braves catcher Drake Baldwin
Nov. 10: BBWAA Manager of the Year Awards
The top manager in each league will be recognized with this annual honor, which is based only on the regular season.
Last year's winners: The Guardians' Stephen Vogt and the Brewers' Pat Murphy, who both won for the second consecutive season.
Nov. 11: BBWAA Cy Young Awards
The Cy Young Award has been given out since 1956. It was awarded to the top overall pitcher in the Majors from 1956-66, but it has been presented to one pitcher in each league since 1967.
Last year's winners: Tarik Skubal and Paul Skenes
Nov. 11: All-MLB Teams
The All-MLB Team was introduced in 2019 to honor players’ full-season contributions, given that All-Star selections are based on first-half performance. Fans were asked to vote at MLB.com to help choose first- and second-team selections at each position (including three outfielders, a DH, five starting pitchers and two relievers) among this year's nominees.
The All-MLB First and Second Teams will be revealed as part of MLB Awards presented by MGM Rewards, airing on MLB Network on Nov. 11, beginning at 9 p.m. ET. The winners of the Hank Aaron Award, the Comeback Players of the Year, the Mariano Rivera & Trevor Hoffman Relievers of the Year, the Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter of the Year and the MLB Executive of the Year will also be announced during the show.

Last year's winners: The Yankees' Aaron Judge and the Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani
Nov. 11: Comeback Player of the Year Awards
The Comeback Player of the Year Awards honor one player from each league who has overcome adversity to return to a high level of performance in the Major Leagues.

Nov. 11: Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter
The Outstanding DH Award has been handed out since the designated hitter was first adopted by the AL in 1973, and it was renamed in honor of five-time winner and Hall of Famer Edgar Martinez in 2004.
Last year's winner: Shohei Ohtani for the fifth straight year.
Nov. 11: Executive of the Year Award
This honor will be announced during the GM Meetings, which will take place in Las Vegas this year. As with other awards, voting is completed prior to the start of the postseason, which means results from the playoffs aren’t taken into account.
Last year's winner: The Brewers' Matt Arnold for the second straight year.
Nov. 12: BBWAA MVP Awards
Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez and Cubs center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong are the heavy favorites to earn MVP honors in their respective league this season. It will be the first time since 2020 that neither Aaron Judge nor Shohei Ohtani will take home the award.
Last year's winners: Judge and Ohtani, who became the first pair of players to be named MVP in consecutive seasons.
Nov. 17: Silver Slugger Awards
Each year since 1980, the best offensive player at each position in each league has been honored with a Silver Slugger Award based on voting from MLB managers and coaches. This is the fifth year that there will be an award category for utility players, given the increasing prevalence of players who are defensively versatile. The Silver Slugger finalists will be announced by Louisville Slugger at 2 p.m. ET on Nov. 2.
