Magallanes 7, Aragua 3
Magallanes plated five runs in the final three frames to secure the victory, as Endy Chavez went 3-for-5 with two RBIs. With Aragua leading by one in the seventh, Chavez hit a two-run double to put Magallanes on top for good, and he came around to score later in the frame. Gabriel Garcia got his third win of the season, while Wil Ledezma took his first loss. Box score

Caracas 9, Margarita 8
The game didn't have much scoring in the first six innings, but things really got going in the final three frames, when the teams combined to score 11 runs. Bobby Abreu went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Aharon Eggleston also had three hits. Box score

With the score tied going into the bottom of the ninth, Zulia used three straight singles to plate the game-winning run. Jose Pirela had three hits, while J.C. Linares went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Box score

Oscar Salazar hit a game-winning two-run home run in the 11th inning, his eighth of the year. He finished the game going 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBIs. Jean Toledo got his fifth win of the season, while Enrique Gonzalez took his second loss. Box score

Escogido 3, Aguilas 2 (11 innings)
Escogido scored the game-winning run on a fielding error by shortstop Danny Santana in the 11th inning, which plated Freddy Guzman. Pirates No. 2 prospect Gregory Polanco went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, while Cleveland's Carlos Santana went 2-for-5 with a double. Box score

Toros 5, Gigantes 4 (11 innings)
Toros plated the eventual game-winning run on an RBI-single to center field by Jason Rogers. Angelys Nina scored the run after leading off the inning with a double. Osiris Matos got the win, while Franquelis Osoria picked up the loss. Box score

Los Mochis 8, Mexicali 3
A four-run seventh inning helped Los Mochis cruise to victory over Mexicali. Brian Burgamy led the way, going 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and two RBIs. Abraham Rivera got his first win of the season, while Esteban Hernandez took the loss. Box score

Obregon 9, Mazatlan 7
Obregon scored five runs in the fifth en route to a victory Thursday night over Mazatlan. The two teams combined for 27 hits. Said Gutierrez had only one hit, but that was a fifth inning grand slam for Obregon. Blake Gailen went 3-for-5 with a double and four RBIs for Mazatlan. Box score

Guasave 2, Hermosillo 1 (11 innings)
With little offense throughout the game, it was a single by Japhet Amador in extra innings that proved to be the difference. Bryan Evans allowed just three hits in six innings for Hermosillo, while Juan Delgadillo allowed just a run on one hit in 7 1/3 frames. Both got no-decisions. Box score

Mayaguez 3, Santurce 2
After a two-run first inning, Santurce couldn't plate another run and wound up losing a tight contest to Mayaguez. Ryan Tatusko got his second win of the season, allowing one hit in 3 1/3 innings. Eric Niesen took the loss. Box score

Jorge Padilla went 2-for-4 with a home run and an RBI to lead Caguas to a victory over Ponce. Miguel Abreu and Edgardo Baez also had two hits.
