World Series Trophy Tour presented by T-Mobile takes to the road to celebrate the 2013 Major League Baseball postseason

Major League Baseball and T-Mobile will take the World Series Trophy to various citiesthroughout the 2013 Postseason as part of the World Series Trophy Tour presented by T-Mobile.The tour marks the first time MLB has taken the trophy on tour with fan eventsthroughout the entire Postseason and World Series.

The tour will include special events and appearancesfeaturing MLB legends and celebrity baseball fans.Participants include four-time World Series championJack Morris, 1986 New York Mets World Series championand TBS analyst Ron Darling, 1981 Los Angeles DodgersWorld Series champion Steve Garvey and additionalplayers.

Throughout October, the trophy will make appearances at T-Mobile stores for fans to visitand take photos with in Postseason cities. More details regarding store visits will follow.

Tiffany & Co. has created the Commissioner’s Trophy since 2000. The 24-inch high trophyfeatures 30 flags, one for each Major League Baseball team, with latitude/longitude linessymbolizing the world, and 24-karat gold vermeil stitches representing those on a baseball.Etched on the base are the words, “Presented by the Commissioner of Baseball,” alongwith the signature of Baseball Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig.
