In 1996, 22-year-old Derek Jeter and teammate Bernie Williams made the transition from the diamond to the TV screen when they appeared in an episode of Seinfeld.
Jeter and Williams have kept doing cool stuff off the field. Williams has been playing the National Anthem at NBA games and Jeter's been getting walk-up songs from The Roots. With Jeter retiring after 2014, maybe we'll see him on TV more often.
