Scoring Changes
The below details all Official Scoring changes that have occurred following the conclusion of the listed games. Changes can be made by the Official Scorer, Elias Sports Bureau, or following a review initiated by a player or club.
2025 Regular Season
1) 3/27 CLE@KC -- In the bottom of the 8th inning, Kyle Isbel now has a SAC bunt. The error charged to pitcher Hunter Gaddis has been removed.
2) 3/27 PHI@WAS -- In the bottom of the 7th inning, Luis Garcia now reaches on a double, instead of a single and an error by second baseman Bryson Stott.
3) 3/30 BAL@TOR -- In the bottom of the 6th inning, Will Wagner reached on an error by shortstop Jorge Mateo. Now pitcher Matt Bowman gets credit for an assist on the play.
4) 4/4 BAL@KC -- In the bottom of the 8th inning, Kyle Isbel is now credited with a sacrifice bunt, instead of just hitting into a fielders choice.
5) 4/6 STL@BOS GM2 -- In the bottom of the 5th inning, Jarren Duran reaches on a two base fielding error by first baseman Alec Burleson, instead of a double. As a result, the run scored by Duran is now unearned to Gordon Graceffo.
6) 4/4 STL@BOS -- In the top of the 9th inning, Nolan Arenado reached on what was originally scored a failed fielder’s choice and throwing error by third baseman Alex Bregman for the additional advancements. This has been changed to a base hit and throwing error on Bregman. As a result, one more run in the inning is earned to Cooper Criswell.
7) 4/6 BAL@KC -- In the bottom of the 1st inning, Bobby Witt reaches on a three-base error by center fielder Jorge Mateo, instead of a triple. As a result, all 3 runs in the inning are now unearned to Cade Povich.
8) 4/6 BAL@KC -- In the top of the 7th inning, Ryan Mountcastle reaches on a three-base error by right fielder Hunter Renfroe. As a result, the run scored by Mountcastle is now unearned to Kris Bubic.
9) 4/6 BAL@KC -- In the top of the 7th inning, Ryan Mountcastle scores on a passed ball by Freddy Fermin, instead of a wild pitch by Kris Bubic.
10) 4/10 MIL@COL -- In the bottom of the 3rd inning, Brenton Doyle now has a single instead of a throwing error charged to Brice Turang.
11) LAA@HOU -- In the bottom of the 6th inning, with Jeremy Pena batting, the passed ball charged to Logan O'Hoppe has been changed to a wild pitch charged to Michael Darrell-Hicks.
12) 4/8 BAL@ARI -- In the top of the 7th inning, the final out of the inning goes catcher Gabriel Moreno to third baseman Eugenio Suarez to second baseman Garrett Hampson, instead of Moreno to Suarez.
13) 4/14 HOU@STL -- In the bottom of the 5th inning, all three runs charged to Framber Valdez are now earned, instead of only two of the runs being earned.
14) 4/9 SD@ATH -- In the top of the 1st inning, Xander Bogaerts now reaches on a double, instead of a single and en error by left fielder Miguel Andujar.
15) 4/11 LAA@HOU -- In the top of the 4th inning, Jorge Soler now reaches on a single, instead of an error by shortstop Jeremy Pena.
16) 4/11 LAA@HOU -- In the bottom of the 3rd inning, Jose Altuve now reaches on a single, instead of on an error by right fielder Mike Trout.
17) 4/12 NYM@ATH -- In the top of the 1st inning, Francisco LIndor now reaches on a single, instead of an error by second baseman Max Muncy.
18) 4/5 CLE@LAA -- In the bottom of the 3rd inning, Jorge Soler now reaches on a single, instead of on an error by third baseman Jose Ramirez.
19) 4/12 TOR@BAL -- In the bottom of the 6th inning, Jordan Westburg reaches on an error by first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr., with an assist from shortstop Bo Bichette, instead of reaching on a single. As a result, the runs scored by Westburh and Ryan O' Hearn later in the inning are now unearned for pitcher Bowden Francis, instead of earned.
20) 4/15 AZ@MIA -- In the top of the 6th inning, Garrett Hampson now has a single. He was originally ruled to have reached on a fielder's choice.
21) 4/15 ATL@TOR -- In the top of the 3rd inning, the caught stealing of Nick Allen at 2nd base has been changed to an out advancing.
22) 4/14 CHC@SD -- In the bottom of the 5th inning, Jose Iglesias now has a single instead of an error charged to Matt Shaw.
23) 4/18 CLE@PIT -- In the bottom of the 9th inning, the double for Enmanuel Valdez has been changed to a single. The advance to 2nd base is on the throw.
24) 4/17 SEA@CIN -- In the top of the 5th inning, Cal Raleigh is now credited with an RBI single, instead of reaching on a fielder error by shortstop Elly De La Cruz. As a result, one run in the inning is now earned to Brady Singer.
25) 4/20 ATH@MIL -- In the bottom of the 4th inning, William Contreras reaches on an infield single instead of a throwing error on shortstop Jacob Wilson.
26) 4/21 SD@DET -- In the top of the 5th inning, after Oscar Gonzalez's single, the assist for Trey Sweeney has been removed.
27) 4/20 NYY@TB -- In the bottom of the 9th inning, Jose Caballero reached on a 2-base error, instead of a single and just advancing to second base on the error. This makes the run later scored by Caballero now unearned to Devin Williams .
28) 4/21 MIL@SF -- In the bottom of the 5th inning, the throwing error charged to Brice Turang has been changed to a missed catcher error charged to Rhys Hoskins.
29) 4/24 MIL@SF -- In the top of the 4th inning, one run charged to Landen Roupp has been changed to unearned.
30) 4/22 LAD@CHC -- In the top of the 1st inning, the error charged to Gage Workman has been changed to a single for Shohei Ohtani. As a result, three runs are changed to earned against Shota Imanaga.
31) 4/26 MIL@STL -- In the top of the 7th inning, an assist has been added for William Contreras on the groundball hit by Christian Yelich.
32) 4/27 TOR@NYY(GM1) -- In the top of the 1st inning, Bo Bichette now reaches on a two-base error by third baseman Oswaldo Cabrera, instead of on a single and an error. As a result, the run scored by Bichette in the inning is now unearned for pitcher Max Fried, instead of earned.
33) 4/25 TEX@SF -- In the top of the 6th inning, Josh Smith reaches on a fielder error by shortstop Willy Adames, instead of reaching on an infield single. As a result, the run scored by Smith is now unearned to Justin Verlander.
34) 5/1 STL@CIN -- In the top of the 3rd inning, the run scored by Brendan Donovan is now unearned for pitcher Andrew Abbott, instead of earned.
35) 5/2 COL@SF -- In the top of the 1st inning, Brenton Doyle is out advancing at second, instead of a caught stealing.
36) 5/2 NYM@STL -- In the top of the 5th inning, Mark Vientos RBI is removed as without the error the inning would have ended
37) 4/29 ATH@TEX -- In the bottom of the 3rd inning, following Jake Burger's single, the error has been removed for right fielder Lawrence Butler. Marcus Semien advanced to 3rd base on the single.
38) 5/4 CLE@TOR -- In the bottom of the 9th inning, an additional error has been charged to pitcher Emmanuel Clase for the throw allowing Andres Gimenez to advance to 2nd base. Gimenez still reaches on an error by Clase, who now has two on the play.
39) 5/7 NYM@ARI -- In the top of the 9th inning, Francisco Lindor steals third base, instead of reaching third on defensive indifference.
40) 5/5 NYM@ARI -- In the top of the 9th inning, Alek Thomas reaches on an infield single to first baseman Pete Alonso, instead of a throwing error on Alonso.
41) 5/6 NYM@ARI -- In the bottom of the 4th inning, Randal Grichuk reaches on a two-base fielding error by third baseman Mark Vientos, instead of a double. As a result, both runs in the inning are now unearned to David Peterson.
42) 5/9 LAD@AZ -- In the top of the 3rd inning, the error charged to first baseman Josh Naylor has been changed to an assumed out at home plate. As a result, Outman loses an RBI and the runs scored by Enrique Hernandez and Miguel Rojas have been changed to unearned against Eduardo Rodriguez.
43) 5/11 BOS@KC -- In the bottom of the 3rd inning, the run is changed to earned against Lucas Giolitto.
44) 5/8 CIN@ATL -- In the top of the 5th inning, the single for Santiago Espinal has been changed to a force-out error charged to Austin Riley. As a result, the run scoring that inning is now unearned against Spencer Schwellenbach.
45) 5/9 CIN@HOU -- In the bottom of the 7th inning, the error charged to Elly De La Cruz has been changed to a single for Mauricio Dubon.

49) 5/11 ATL@PIT -- In the bottom of the 9th inning, Joey Bart now has a single instead of reaching on a fielder's choice.
50) 5/9 SD@COL -- In the bottom of the 8th inning, the single for Adael Amador has been changed to an error charged to Jake Cronenworth. As a result, one run in the inning is now unearned to Wandy Peralta.

54) 5/17 WSH@BAL -- In the bottom of the 7th inning, Heston Kjerstad now reaches on an error by first baseman Nathaniel Lowe and Ramon Urias advances to 3rd base on a second error by Lowe, instead of there only being one error charged to Lowe on the play.
55) 5/17 CLE@CIN -- In the bottom of the 6th inning, Austin Hays doubled and advanced to third base on the throw home, instead of doubling and advancing to third base on a throwing error by Jose Ramirez.

59) 5/24 TEX@CWS -- In the bottom of the 6th inning, the triple for Austin Slater has been changed to an error charged to Wyatt Langford. As a result, 2 runs in the inning are now unearned against Hoby Milner.
60) 5/24 PHI@ATH -- In the bottom of the 5th inning, the error charged to Trea Turner has been changed to a single for Shea Langeliers. As a result, one run in the inning is changed to earned against Christopher Sanchez.
61) 5/25 TEX@CWS -- In the top of the 9th inning, Kyle Higashioka now has a single instead of a dropped catch error charged to Lenyn Sosa. As a result, Miguel Vargas loses an assist and one run in the inning is changed to earned against Jordan Leasure.
62) 5/24 SEA@HOU -- In the bottom of the 1st inning, the error charged to Leo Rivas has been changed to a single for Victor Caratini. Caratini gets an RBI and two runs in the inning and changed to earned against Bryan Woo.
63) 5/27 LAD@CLE -- In the bottom of the 9th inning, Jose Ramirez reached on an infield single, instead of eaching on an error by Luis Garcia with an assist for Freddie Freeman. This makes the two runs that scored later in the inning, now earned to Luis Garcia.
