Scoring Changes

The below details all Official Scoring changes that have occurred following the conclusion of the listed games. Changes can be made by the Official Scorer, Elias Sports Bureau, or following a review initiated by a player or club.

2022 Regular Season

  1. 4/7 [email protected] -- The winning pitcher is now Mychal Givens. It had been Chris Martin.
  2. 4/7 [email protected] -- In the top of the 7th inning, Jose Altuve is no longer credited with a sacrifice bunt and is instead changed an official at-bat.
  3. 4/8 [email protected] -- The losing pitcher is now Dillon Tate. It had been Jorge Lopez.
  4. 4/10 [email protected] - In the bottom of the 7th inning, Jin-Man Choi advances to third on a passed ball by Robinson Chirinos, instead of a wild pitch by Paul Fry.
  5. 4/10 [email protected] -- The winning pitcher is now Jake Cousins. It had been Brad Boxberger.
  6. 4/10 [email protected] - In the bottom of the 7th inning, Randal Grichuk is now credited with a single, instead of reaching on an error by first baseman, Freddie Freeman. As a result of the change, both runs in the inning charged to Evan Phillips, are now earned.
  7. 4/7 [email protected] -- In the bottom of the 5th inning, Ahmed Rosario is now charged with a two-base error instead of a double for Hunter Dozier. As a result, one run charged to Shane Bieber has been changed to unearned.
  8. 4/8 [email protected] -- In the bottom of the 1st inning, the passed ball charged to Martin Maldonado has been changed to a wild pitch charged to Jake Odorizzi.
  9. 4/9 [email protected] -- In the top of the 9th inning, the run charged to Mark Melancon has been changed to unearned.
  10. 4/13 [email protected] - In the top of the 8th inning, Tyler Heineman is no longer credited with a sacrifice bunt and is instead charged an official at-bat.
  11. 4/10 [email protected] -- In the top of the 7th inning, Adam Engel reaches on an infield hit to third base, instead of a throwing error on third baseman Jeimer Candelario.
  12. 4/12 [email protected] -- In the top of the 3rd inning, Andres Gimenez now has a single instead of an error charged to Tyler Mahle. As a result, three runs in the inning are now earned against Mahle.
  13. 4/17 [email protected] -- In the bottom of the 1st inning, an assist has been added for right fielder, Dylan Carlson on the throw home on the fly out by Keston Hiura.
  14. 4/17 [email protected] -- In the top of the 6th inning, Victor Robles is no longer credited with a sacrifice bunt and instead is charged an official at-bat.
  15. 4/16 [email protected] -- In the top of the 4th inning, Paul DeJong is no longer credited with a double and instead it is now a single with an advance to second on the throw.

  21. 4/20 [email protected] -- In the bottom of the 1st inning, Randal Grichuk reaches on a throwing error by second baseman Jean Segura, instead of on an infield single to second. As a result, the two runs in the inning charged to Zach Eflin, are now unearned.

  42. 5/1 [email protected] -- In the top of the 5th Inning, Jordan Luplow reached on an infield single to shortstop Paul DeJong, instead of an error on DeJong.
  43. 5/8 [email protected] -- In the bottom of the 7th inning, Cooper Hummel reached on an infield single to shortstop Jose Iglesias, instead of an error by Iglesias.
  44. 5/10 [email protected] -- In the bottom of the 2nd inning, the error originally charged to first baseman Rhys Hoskins after Adam Frazier singled has now been changed to an error on second baseman Jean Segura.
  45. 4/29 [email protected] -- In the top of the 7th inning, the single for DJ LeMahieu has been changed to a fielding error on shortstop Nicky Lopez. As a result, LeMahieu loses an RBI and all four runs in the inning are now unearned to Dylan Coleman.
  46. 5/11 [email protected] -- In the bottom of the 8th inning, the run scored by LaMonte Wade Jr. is now unearned to Daniel Bard.
  47. 5/12 [email protected] -- In the top of the 4th inning, the sacrifice fly has been removed for Johan Camargo and he is now charged an official at-bat.
