Wyatt Reeder Toregas...Wife's name is Holly...Is a 2001 graduate of South Lakes (VA) High School, where he was a four-year letterman in baseball...Was an all-state selection after batting .609 during his senior year and was the MVP of the Virginia High School All-Star Game...Also wrestled and played golf in high school...Played three seasons at Virginia Tech and was an All-Big East first team selection during his sophomore season in 2003 after hitting .319 with 10 homers and 60 RBI in 56 games...Produced a .280 average, 14 doubles, four homers and 39 RBI in 53 games as a junior.

2011

Spent majority of season with Triple-A Indianapolis, where he had four separate stints on the disabled list...Had three of his eight hits go for doubles...Snapped an 0-for-25 start to the season with a double on 6/1 vs. Scranton...Was selected by Pittsburgh on 6/19 when Chris Snyder went on the D.L...Made debut with Pirates on 6/10 vs. New York and grounded into a double play as a pinch-hitter...Made lone start with Pirates on 6/11 and went hitless in three at bats...Was designated for assignment on 6/12 and outrighted to Indianapolis on 6/15...Had lone multi-hit game on 6/19 at Rochester...Was placed on the disabled list on 6/27 with a hip flexor strain...Collected six of his eight RBI in his final five games.

2010

Was a member of Cleveland's 40-man roster in spring training, but was designated for assignment on 4/3...Began season with Double-A Akron, where he made 17 appearances behind the plate thru 5/6...Hit lone home run with the Aeros on 4/27 at Altoona...Was transferred to Mahoning Valley on 5/10...Homered twice in his first game with the Scrappers on 6/18 at Jamestown...Finished season with Columbus (Indians' AAA), where he went deep in each of his first two games on 7/11 and 7/15...Also tallied five of his six RBI with the Clippers in his first two games...Played in final game on 8/3...Finished season on the disabled list due to a left groin strain...Hit .227 (29-for-128) with five home runs and 14 RBI in 38 minor league games.

2009

Split the season between AAA Columbus and Cleveland in his first taste of big league action...Hit .284 (59-208) in 60 games this year at AAA Columbus with 10 2B, 7HR, 29RBI and 22R...From June 18 until his July 31 recall Wyatt hit .309 (30-97) with 3 2B, 3HR, 14RBI and 11R in 26 games and was the only member of the Clippers named to the International League All-Star squad (DNP, concussion, out from July 8-17)...Hit 2HR with 4RBI on April 22 vs. Louisville...Hit .326 (15-46) off LHP (.972OPS) at AAA, .293 (27-92) with runners on base and .294 (15-51) with RISP...Hit .306 (22-72) in June w/16RBI in 19 games...Recalled from AAA Columbus on July 31 when Martinez was traded to Boston...Made his Major League debut on August 1 vs. Detroit and collected first hit that night off Rick Porcello...Was 2-for-3 w/3RBI on August 9 at Chicago-AL... Split the season between AA Akron and AAA Buffalo and enjoyed a great deal of success at the end of the season for the Aeros...Started the year at Buffalo and appeared in 50 games, all at catcher, and hit .219...Hit .283 vs. LHP w/the Bisons and had a .411 on-base % off lefties during his tenure in Buffalo...Sent to Akron on June 18...Homered in his 2nd game w/the Aeros (3-4, 2RS) on June 21 at Reading and hit 3 homers w/4RBI on July 2 at Erie and was named Eastern League batter of the week, homering in 3 straight games with 9RBI over that span, July 7-9...Drove in 4 runs the next game, July 10, giving him 13 RBI over 4 games, July 6-10....Hit .345 (29-84) in July w/7 2B, 9HR & 24 RBI in 25 games.....Was on the DL from August 13-25 w/a left elbow injury...Over his last 13 games from August 1 thru the end of the season he hit .229 (11-48) to end the regular season...Hit .208 (5-24) in 8 Eastern League playoff games...With Akron he hit .400 (18-45) off LHP w/4HR (.438OB/.733SLG/1.171OPS)...Had a .574 slg% and .945 OPS w/Akron...Hit .300 (24-80) w/runners on w/Akron and .357 (15-42) w/RISP...Combined on the year he tossed out 25 of 61 (41%) of the runners attempting to steal off him between Akron and Buffalo.

7 Spent the season at AA Akron, where he was limited to 86 games with lower back and elbow issues and a non-baseball medical condition that limited him the latter part of the season...Season got off to a hot start, hitting .333 (14-42)in Aprilw/2HR&8RBI in 15 games...Was named to themid-season Eastern League/Double A All-Star Game....Missed time from 6/9-20 (lower back) and 7/4-18 (right elbow) and was limited to 5 games in the Eastern League playoffs (3-17, .176) with a non-baseball medical condition...Added to the 40-man roster on 11/19.

2006

Enjoyed a successful campaign that saw him climb the organizational depth chart among catchers...Got off to a torrid start at A Kinston and was selected to the Carolina League All-Star Team after leading the CL for most of the first half in batting average (.336) before being promoted to AA Akron on June 15...At the time of the promotion he was 1st in the league in hitting and 2nd in on-base (.418) & slugging % (.514)...Hit .381 (49-146) in April and .333 (26-78) in May...Made his AA debut on June 20...Hit .319 (22-69) in August w/a HR & 15RBI in 22 games before hitting .233 (7-30) in 9 Eastern League playoff games (2HR, 9RBI)...Combined on the year between Kinston and Akron he hit .294 (91-309) with 24 2B, 8HR & 52RBI in 92 games...Hit .360 (27-75) off LHP and .318 (27-85) with RISP on the year between the two stops...Played in the Dominican Winter League following the season.

Spent entire season at A Lake County...Hit .287 (25-87) from 8/1 thru end of the season...Hit .245 off RHP and .162 off LHP...Hit safely in 20 of the last 22 games of the season...Last HR came on 5/23.

Signed on 6/16...Spent short season at A Mahoning Valley where he finished 3rd in the New York-Penn League in RBI (48) and 5th in doubles (18).
