Was a non-roster invite to Spring Training with the Giants in 2020 and made five appearances out of the bullpen before undergoing Tommy John surgery on March 9, 2020 after injuring the ligament in a relief outing.

Split most of the year between Triple-A Iowa and Triple-A Tacoma, posting to a 2-1 record with a 3.53 ERA (17er, 43.1ip) and going 5-for-6 in save opportunities over 31 games... Appeared in 11 games for the Seattle Mariners...was used as the Mariners opener for five games from June 26-July 7... Started the season with the Iowa Cubs and was released on June 7... Was signed to a minor league contract by Seattle on June 7 and has his contract selected from Triple-A Tacoma on June 23.
